We spent 3 nights in a cozy Double Room and loved that the breakfast was both hearty and tasty, especially the fresh fruit selection! The sun terrace and garden area were perfect for unwinding after a long day of exploring. Just a small detail, the bathroom could use a more thorough cleaning, but it didn’t ruin our enjoyment at all. 😊

Comfortable stay with character in a central location
I really enjoyed my six-night stay. The hotel, while not luxurious, was incredibly friendly, comfortable, and clean. The staff were lovely and flexible, and breakfasts were satisfying. The dining room's decor, featuring panels from the Titanic's sister ship, added a unique charm to our experience. The only downside was the limited option for evening meals.

I stayed in a spacious double room. It was clean, and I loved the good facilities. The windows were a bit noisy since we had to keep them open for fresh air. The decor was nice but the room needed a bit of deep cleaning. The staff was friendly and the whole vibe was welcoming.

The grilled fish at Di Sopra was a real gem! Plus, the staff were incredibly friendly and the location is spot on for exploring all of Alnwick's charms.
We had to crack open the window on Friday night, and the street noise was a bit much. Plus, those sinks took their sweet time draining.

The location is excellent, and the interesting decor in the dining room adds a unique touch, featuring original wooden paneling from an Olympic liner. service can be slow. we waited a bit too long for our drinks in the bar. noise from the street can disrupt sleep, particularly in rooms facing the front. Afternoon tea was a pleasant experience, complemented by homemade jams.

I had a lovely stay. the cozy ambiance of the Olympic Dining Room at breakfast was delightful, and I relished the delicious smoked salmon on scrambled eggs. The attentive reception staff made my arrival smooth, and I enjoyed a spacious room on the upper floor despite the sloping roof. the room differed from the photos as the view was blocked. I would definitely return!

Historic Charm with Room for Improvement
The stunning decor truly reflects the historic elegance of the place. We enjoyed the complimentary snacks in the lobby, a lovely touch. the comfort of the Twin Room was lacking, and the breakfast fell short with limited choices. Consider bringing your own breakfast items!

Great place near the castle
This place was a sweet spot! Super close to the castle, which was perfect for our plans. The staff were quite helpful, especially with our bags since there are no lifts. The room was nice and cozy too. Breakfast was decent, nothing fancy but it did the job. A bit noisy at times, though.
